Splendid Start of the New Year

Hello Folks!

Firstly, we would like to say a big thank you to the beautiful bunch of you who attended our first workshops in 2018! We were delighted to have so many of you there! We are blessed to have an opportunity to offer and share what we love and are passionate about. We feel empowered and energised, and we hope you do too! So stay with us for the coming months until the Summer Break.

Secondly, what a beautiful Sunday Family M.A.S we had on 11th of February! Children and adults had so much fun and it was indeed magical. We all created a truly imaginative Winter Wonderland, by catching snowflakes, jumping into fluffy snow, snowball fights, sledging and wondering at the beauty of a floating ice plate....what fun it was! We created a palette of sounds like rain and thunder or howling wind; all just with the use of our hands and breath, tapping, clicking and whistling. We danced and moved creatively to different sounds, and became an improvisational orchestra using a range of instruments! And there was a time for repose and relaxation....by the fireplace that could be heard, but seen and felt only through our bodies. The place was woven through with the sounds of a gong, singing bowls and self-made instruments as well as the sound of the very real hail and rain outside. It was a magical moment when all children quietly looked through the windows, sighing from the enjoyment of seeing the very timely white hail. Relaxed and soothed, we had time for a creative finale. Together, we made a winter collage accompanied by the background hang music and singing. And there was a smile on every face, kindness, friendliness, warmth and love in the air. It was enchanting...
